VOCATIONAL VIDEO: Adding a little walk to his talk, Mr. David Coffey of Mystery Teacher 2000 fame has created this video tutorial on how-to create teaching videos. Responding to calls (presumably from Khan supporters) to point out where the math videos that he and fellow Mystery Teacher, Mr. John Golden are "making and sharing with the world," Mr. Coffey came up empty, adding that he doesn’t think it is an “effective way to foster learning” of math topics. But in posting this video, he is making his pedagogy as vulnerable as the Khan videos he critiqued, and he knows it -- Mr. Coffey openly states that he has a “lot to learn” about video and remains “open to constructive criticism (even in the form of a satirical video).”
