Digital Natives Not Always Savvy, Says Canadian Report

"NOT SO SAVVY:" A (very) small qualitative study of teachers in ten elementary and high schools across Canada (PDF) suggests that the teachers--and not the "digital natives" as we may expect--are the ones experimenting with edtech in the classroom. These teachers also see many students as passive consumers of the web, too complacent and naive when it comes to searching and navigating information.
