The Learning Accelerator Lands $500K Grant to Support Blended Learning Initiatives

THE LEARNING ACCELERATOR (TLA), a non-profit organization, has received a $500,000, two-year grant from the Carnegie Corporation. Based in Cupertino, California, TLA is dedicated to developing, implementing and investing in K-12 blended learning programs on a national scale. In a press release, CEO, Scott Ellis, noted that the grant “is significant not only for the the funding it provides, but also for the opportunities it provides us to collaborate with leading thinkers and doers in public education.” TLA has currently invested over $3.6 million in across 14 projects that range from broadband policy research to blended learning MOOCs.
