CogBooks Scores $2.8M to Deliver Adaptive Courses

COGBOOKS: £1.75 million (approximately US $2.8 million) to Edinburgh, (still a part of the) UK-based CogBooks from DC Thomson Ventures, Nesta Impact Investments and the Scottish Investment Bank. Founded in 2006, CogBooks lets educators create and deliver adaptive courses using pre-existing web content and assessments. It was recently named a finalist in the Gates Foundation's Next Generation Courseware Challenge. More details in the company blog.
