Khan Academy launches computer science platform and Chompy

CHOMPY AND FRIENDS: Khan Academy president Shantanu Sinha showed off to TechCrunch the company's brand new computer science platform. Gushes TechCrunch: "The heart of the design places a simplified, interactive text editor that sits adjacent to the code’s drawing output, which updates in real time as students explore how different variables and numbers change the size, shapes, and colors of their new creation." We think the side-by-side interface resembles stuff we've seen on sites like W3Schools and Codecademy for awhile now. (Though it marks a departure from Sal's typical regimen of colorful drawings on a black screen).
