In contrast to other online tutoring services, co-founder Blair Silverberg promises more of a "mentoring" experience. Profiles of TutorCloud tutors consequently have more casual info about their backgrounds and hobbies, so that kids and their parents feel they're connecting with a real person, not just a Turing-test champion robot.
