DISTRIBUTING DEVICES: As the Bring Your Own Device/Technology movement gains momentum, the BYOT Network has unveiled five pearls of wisdom for implementing BYOT during the first five days of school. Much of the advice -- modeling good practices, constructing a learning environment, discussing responsible use -- is a digital translation of good pedagogy practices. We were intrigued by the “4 C’s of Digital Age Learning - Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking” -- a fairly simple framework for remembering that technology provides new learning capabilities.
