Jun 10, 2019

JURASSIC PARK: Raptor Technologies, a Houston-based K-12 school security services provider, has bought LobbyGuard Solutions, a visitor management and front office automation system provider based in Raleigh, N.C., for an undisclosed amount.

The combined organization will serve about 30,000 K-12 schools, according to a statement Wednesday. Founded in 2002, Raptor claims it has identified and alerted officials to more than 50,000 instances of sex offenders attempting to enter schools and issued more than 250,000 custody alerts.

Founded in 2005, LobbyGuard claims it handles over 1 million visitor sign-ins each week at schools, businesses, medical buildings and government offices.
