SRB EDUCATION SOLUTIONS, which offers a range of administrative software for Canadian K-12 schools, has been acquired by PowerSchool. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 1978, SRB has developed a suite of student information, payroll, human resource, gradebook and library services that serve more than 2.3 million students. These products, according to a press release from PowerSchool, will be actively maintained and developed. This deal marks the Folsom, CA-based company’s fifth acquisition since Nov. 2015; it has spent more than $100 million on the previous four companies that offer enrollment, assessment, special education and learning management systems.
