Codekingdoms Raises $1.4M for Minecraft Coding Tutorials

Jun 6, 2016

CODEKINGDOMS, a British company that makes coding tutorials that integrate with Minecraft, has raised $1.4 million from Initial Capital, SparkLabs Global, Charles Mindenhall and Manoj Badale, among others. The recent round brings the company's total investment to $1.8 million. In an email to EdSurge, the company wrote that it closed the round several months ago but kept the announcement under wraps until after the launch of Codekingdoms for Modding. According to the email, Codekingdoms plans use the funding for growing its UK team and moving into the US market.
