TALENTBUDDY, an interactive platform that teaches coding, has been acquired by the online course platform Udemy. In a blog post, San-Francisco-based Udemy cited a need for more interaction and support for its coding students as the main reason for acquiring the smaller company. Coding is the most popular subject on Udemy. Talentbuddy, founded in Vancouver in 2013, claims to have 45,000 users, which Udemy will add to its existing 10 million users. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
