CH-CH-CHANGES: Common Core is changing the 89-year-old college-admissions test, argues The Atlantic and the College Board’s David Coleman, frequently called “the architect of the Common Core.” The SAT, which will be revamped this March, is getting a facelift in all three of its sections--math, reading and writing. What’ll be more “Common Coresque”? The test will include more algebra and an argumentative essay, for starters.
