OLD-SCHOOL: Time to bring together the old and the Knewton. The New York City-based company has partnered with HP to offer Personalized Print Learning Solutions. The digital adaptive learning platform will personalize content based on student performance on paper worksheets.
Using a smartphone, a teacher can scan a completed, printed worksheet that has been tagged with HP’s “Link” technology. Knewton will then put together a textbook chapter of content tailored for the individual learner based on his or her previous work, which can be printed and delivered to the student using HP printers. Students with access to computers can complete the same process online. Stay tuned to hear when the product will be ready to debut.
