REBEL WITH A (LITERARY) CAUSE: Leawood, KS nine-year-old Spencer Collins recently came home from vacation to a citation ordering him to remove his “public book-sharing box” (otherwise known as a tiny library), claiming that the little house is an outlawed “accessory structure,” reports KMBC. But the resourceful Collins has plans to appeal the citation--and other ideas, too. “I thought, why not get a rope and attach it to our house and the library?” Lend him your support at Spencer’s Little Free Library.
