BREAK ON THROUGH: A new $1.45mm grant challenge just dropped from Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) and EDUCAUSE, focused on incubating new public K-12 school models in local regions around the US. The challenge is aimed at local foundations, school incubators, and various consortia who are expected to match $1.2mm in funds. The funding will go toward building 'breakthrough school models' with heavy doses of personalization, as well as support and incubation experiences for school design teams in their city or region.
