Google Releases Open-Source Tool for Creating Interactive Learning Activities

Feb 27, 2014

CELEBRATE, COLLABORATE: Google continues to tackle the classroom. Today, Google announced their launch of Oppia, an open source project with the goal of "making it easy for anyone to create online interactive activities that others can learn from" (according to TNW). Activities (called "Explorations") can be built and contributed to by one or multiple members of the community through Oppia's web-based interface. No programming skills are required, as Google reps explained on the Google Open Source Blog announcement. This YouTube video gives a comprehensive overview of how to use existing Explorations or create your own.
