Feb 25, 2014

PIAZZA: $8 million to Palo Alto, CA-based Piazza in a Series B round led by Khosla Ventures, with existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also chipping in, reports VatorNews. Founded in 2009, Piazza began as a platform where students and teachers could ask questions and get help outside the classroom. It's rolled out a new tool, Piazza Careers, that lets company recruiters connect with the one million students on the site. According to the Wall Street Journal, this subscription fee for companies starts at $20K per school term.
