BEST OF THE BEST: Business Insider recently published Niche’s list of the 25 US High Schools with the highest SAT/ACT scores. Niche surveyed 909 public and private high schools between 2012 and 2014. And surprise, surprise: the top scorers come from schools in only nine states, mostly CA and New England. (Can we say “SAT prep classes,” anyone?). At the top of the charts were Thomas Jefferson High in Alexandria, VA, the Harker School in San Jose, CA, and the Dalton School in New York City, NY.
