VILLAGE PEOPLE: Pearson announced the 15 teams in its inaugural Edupreneurs program, an Indian-based incubator announced in July and supported by the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund (PALF) and Village Capital. (Here are more details about the program.) The program, set to begin in late-September, has a little Survivor-esque feel: the 15 participants will rate one another on six criteria throughout the 12-week program, with the top two rated teams receiving up to $75K each. The participants offer a range of services from digital curriculum and tools to affordable private schools.
