THERE GOES MY HERO: Renowned venture capitalist Tim Draper's non-accredited, for-profit "university" has a gallant name: the Draper University of Heroes. Set up in an old hotel in San Mateo, CA, the school is his vehicle to train the next generation of entrepreneurs. (Two "hall of fame" alumni have gone on to start their own companies.) In this video interview with TechCrunch, the founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson outlines the "curriculum" and the high-profile lineup who'll be leading classes like merchandising, corporate culture and, um, urban and rural survival training.
