Raspberry Pi Foundation Releases Education Manual

Jan 6, 2013

A PIECE OF PI: You may not have the chops (yet) to make beet beats with the Raspberry Pi. But that doesn't mean you can't get started. The sweet folks at the Raspberry Pi Foundation have released a free Raspberry Pi Education Manual (PDF) that provides a beginner's guide toScratch, Python, Linux, and little projects that involve email and Twitter. Authored by a team of teachers at UK-based organization Computing at School, the guide of short projects and exercises should be useful for anyone interested in compsci to get started--whether or not you've got a hold of the notoriously-backordered device.
