DEADLINE DECEMBER 15: Here's a new edtech accelerator for ya: Socratic Labs, based in NYC, is now accepting applications for its first cohort ever! The terms are similar to those offered by Imagine K12 here in the West Coast: companies get up to $25K in capital, a collaborative workspace, legal services, web hosting, and a series of workshops and curricula geared specifically for each team's needs. The inaugural program, set to begin in late January, will culminate in a Demo Day targeted for the first week of May 2013. The program is looking to take on ten teams--but it's already half filled. So don't wait! Those interested should apply through AngelList by December 15. (There's a chance it will be extended to Christmas but would you want to bet $25K on that?)
