Magicflix Raises $500K to Compete with Google's YouTube Kids

MAGICFLIX: $500K to Seattle, WA-based MagicFlix in a seed round from local angel investors including Geoff Entress and Andrew Wright. A graduate from Techstars Seattle, MagicFlix curates kid-friendly educational and fun videos from the Internet that users can access for $4.99 a month. The company acknowledged to GeekWire that it'll be competing against Google's YouTube Kids App but says "we understand[s] what families want better."
