Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition

Feb 23, 2016

The annual 2016 Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition (EBPC) is just around the corner. If you or someone you know has innovative ideas about how to improve teaching and learning, please apply to the nation’s leading business plan competition for a chance to win over $125,000 in cash prizes. Applications will be accepted beginning on January 6, 2016 via our competition website: http://www.educationcompetition.org.

The 2016 Competition will include two applicant paths – an Idea path for entrepreneurs who are very early in ideation and development, and a Venture path for entrepreneurs who have ideas that are at a more mature stage. (Here’s a quick way to figure out which category to choose: Do you have revenue, grants, customers, or investors? Then you’re a Venture! Not there quite yet? You’re at the Idea stage!). Prizes will be awarded in both paths.

Applicants are encouraged to address at least one of the following themes in their innovation:

  • Urban education
  • Connecting research to practice
  • Teaching & learning
  • Technology in grades K through 12
  • Special education & at-risk students
  • Open & collaborative solutions: The education ecosystem
