UDEMY, TOO: And let's not leave out other disciplines. This week, Udemy rolled out a program that aims to give thousands of professors an online platform to teach. Here's the beta: 15 top-notch prof's have signed up so far, including Robert Allison, chair of Suffolk University's history department, and Dartmouth's China scholar, Pamela Crossley. Udemy makes its money by taking a cut of classes that charge a fee. These university programs won't. But they will let profs create their own classes--which could wind up creating quite an intellect's buffet feast.
