Spanish Education Website Tareasplus Raises $1.8M

TAREASPLUS: $1.8 million in seed funding to SF-based Tareasplus from Academic Partnerships, reports VentureBeat. The startup provides an online education portal through which Spanish-speaking students can access over 1,100 math, chemistry and physics video lessons that reportedly have been viewed by over 3.8 million users.
