Research-grounded iPad App Targets Children with Autism

Research-grounded iPad App Targets Children with Autism

Oct 10, 2012

GO GO GAMES is live on iTunes App Store for iPad. The suite of three fantasy adventures is designed to develop the perceptual ability of preschool and elementary-aged children with autism. The games are the brainchild of three Stanford Ed School alums and were presented this past summer at the LDT expo. You may recall seeing Go Go Games co-creator Alex Hiniker in our video coverage from the event. It's a bit early to know how Go Go Games will fare in the app market but you'll have a hard time finding more glowing words from unwavering edublogger Audrey Watters: "Wow. This is a project to keep an eye on, and when Go Go Games comes to the iTunes Store, I’d heartily recommend this app to all families, not just those with autistic children. Incredibly thoughtful game design." Download here.
