Neustar and EverFi Join Forces to Bring Digital Literacy to Cali. Schools

DIGITAL DECORUM: Life-skills curriculum maven, EverFi, has announced a partnership with information analytics provider. NeuStar, to bring digital citizenship curriculum free of charge to all 7-12th graders in the state of California. The program, My Digital Life, combines rich media, games, and online instruction into a 3.5 hour curriculum to broach serious online topics such as privacy, security, cyberbullying, digital relationships, and digital addiction. All material is aligned to ISTE national standards and designed specifically for 8th and 9th graders. This isn't EverFi's first play at digital citizenship. It's Ignition program geared towards 6-8th graders places a strong emphasis on developing online identity and is also ISTE-aligned. See the full press release here.
