NATIVE TONGUE: While we’re in the throes of Aussie love, here’s a quick shoutout to Native Tongue, creator of mobile apps for language learning. Their first app, Mandarin Madness, was launched last year at TechCrunch Disrupt Beijing and quickly rose to #2 for iTunes education apps in Australia. Now they’re back at it with Spanish Smash, a Spanish vocabulary acquisition game for Android, iOS, and Kindle Fire. Ninty-nine cents brings 230 Spanish vocabulary words. We’ll be watching this one closely.
