Knowledge Transmission: Cambridge, UK-based Knowledge Transmission Ltd., has scored what it says is a "six-figure" seed investment round, following contracts with publishers including Harper Collins and Hodder Education, reports news site, Cabume. Cambridge Capital Group led the investment, along with Robert Swann, Peter Davison, and others angels. Money quote: CEO Sam Loose is hiring editors and engineers, banking on making Knowledge Transmission "cash positive in a little over a year."
