KHAN ON KHAN: Here's a great Q&A with Sal Khan and the folks from 21st Century Fluency Project. It's encouraging to see an organization in sync and working towards the same goals. Khan's interview on flipped classrooms: "I also want to emphasize that the flipped classroom is not what we view as the ideal or the endpoint...The base assumption of the model is that it's completely customized to the student and it's optimally differentiated." At last week's EduTech Meetup in SF, Khan Academy's Elizabeth Slavitt said "Khan Academy is not necessarily advocating the flipped classroom model. We're more concerned with personalized learning."
