DOLLARS AND DIPLOMAS: Pretty graphics and lots of extrapolations about the value of a high school education on this infographic sponsored by the Alliance for Excellent Education. Assumption is that if the 1.3 million kids who dropped out last year graduated from high school, they could collectively earn $7.6 billion a year more than they are likely to earn. Interesting side note: there are only 1/10th as many Asian high school drops outs as there are Hispanics or African Americans.
