NUMBER MUNCHIN': In anticipation of the upcoming World Teachers' Day on October 5, Google asks us to remember--with warmth and pride--the one teacher who made a difference in our lives. The digital behemoth also would like us to know that it's making a difference for teachers, too, as "more than 20 million students, faculty and staff worldwide use Google Apps for Education." In addition, over 500 schools and districts have deployed Chromebook solutions, and universities around the world are posting lectures and courses on YouTube Edu. How's that for honoring teachers?
