DREAM BIG. FLYING TO THE STARS: Moranda Rasmussen should really feel like she's "flying" today: This spring, the Oregon high school senior won first prize in a song writing competition sponsored by startup Rocket21. Now Moranda and country singer Ansel Brown have teamed up to record her song, "Flying." Moranda's personal story gives even deeper meaning to the song, which encourages kids to reach for their goals, no matter the obstacles. Moranda was adopted and lives with a family of 30, several of whom are special needs children. Rocket21 aims to encourage kids to pursue their dreams--but thoughtfully--by connecting them with peers and mentors who do the same kind of work.
