Free! TIME TOAST: This barebones web app makes it easy to create a timeline around any event or set of events. Simply signup (or login with Facebook), create a new timeline and assign it a title, and then begin entering events and/or time spans. Each entry requires a title and date, but users may optionally add text, hyperlinks, and images. Once users have successfully recounted their version of the events, they may publish their timeline publicly on the site, which also enables them to copy and paste code for embedding in blogs and other websites. Time Toast makes it easy to assess knowledge of historical events, or chronicle the details of students' personal events. Pre-historic happenings will have to wait, though as Time Toast doesn't support B.C. dates!
