BIG CLOUD: Microsoft beat out rival cloud services from Google and IBM to secure an agreement with the All India Council for Technical Education to deploy its cloud-based Live@edu service to 10,000 technical colleges in the country (representing 7.5M users). That makes India the "largest customer in the cloud ever," Microsoft declares--and surely better than pie in the sky.
