BADGER: HASTAC Co-founder Cathy Davidson shares her excitement about badges being the "tipping point" in how we qualitatively measure learning in today's world. Drawing on research from her book Now You See It, she argues that the multiple-choice standard of evaluations were fit for measuring ye old industrial workforce of the old days, but not anymore. Oh, and HASTAC also just happens to be a part of the Badges for Lifelong Learning competition. Applications for the first stage just closed, but you can check out all the submissions.
