May 20, 2019

COZY MONEY: CozyKin, a Cambridge, Mass.-based nanny matchmaking service, has raised $6 million in a Series A round from Bessemer Venture Partners, NextView Ventures and Primary Venture Partners.

Founded in 2016, CozyKin matches families with a nanny based on needs and compatibility and handles the finances and nanny management. Thecompany provides a chat platform for families to talk to the nannies, who follow a Montessori-inspired curriculum. The company will use the money to expand into new markets like New York and support efforts with hiring, partnerships and product development, according to a statement Monday.

Bessemer’s previous education investments include Brightwheel, Flat World and BrightBytes. NextView has invested in Strive Talent and Boundless Learning.
