READY TO TALLY: Beijing-based TAL Education Group, a publicly-traded educational company, has acquired Ready4, a Boston- and Tel Aviv-based provider of online test-prep courses and college admissions advisory services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2013, Ready4 claims its courses and admissions consulting services have helped more than 2 million students across 150 countries. Ready4 has raised more than $8 million in venture capital from investors including TAL Education. According to the press release, Ready4 was TAL’s first investment in a non-Chinese company.
