French Game-based Learning Startup Gets Serious, Raises €3 Million

WHY SO SERIOUS? My Serious Game, a Tours, France-based startup that develops game-based programs for professional and corporate training, has raised €3 million (approximately US $3.4 million) from Go Capital, Galia Gestion, A Plus Finance funds, BNP Paribas, BPI France and the Region of Center-Val de Loire.

Founded in 2014, the company creates game-based and virtual reality training programs that have been used for a variety of fields, including retail, entertainment, nursing training, and staffing firms. According to Les Echos, My Serious Games currently boasts nearly 50 employees and “a few million euros” in revenue.
