EDBACKER, a provider of online fundraising tools for K-12 school districts, has been acquired by LivingTree. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2012, LivingTree offers a messaging app that allows parents and educators to communicate with one another. As a result of this deal, Edbacker’s fundraising tool will be rebranded and offered through its new parent company. More details in the press release.
