VERSO LEARNING, a Melbourne-based startup behind a teacher professional development platform, has raised $2 million in a Series A round led by Ken Lowe. Founded in 2014, Verso offers a suite of assessment, feedback, videos and other resources to help teachers improve their instructional practice. The company claims more than 40,000 teachers across 12,000 schools, including those in California, New Jersey, South Carolina and Texas, and will use the funds to expand its presence across the U.S.
