TINY CARDS: Watch out, Quizlet and other flashcard app makers. Duolingo, better known for its bite-sized language learning apps and exercises, is throwing its hat in the ring. Now available on web browsers and Android (in addition to iOS), the company’s new Tinycards tool allows anyone to create flashcard decks to help learners memorize vocabulary, equations and other basic facts. It employs a series of game-based mechanics and exercises to drill that knowledge into players. Want to see how it works?
