GOOGLE GIFTS: Google.org recently doled out $30 million in grants to “nonprofits to bring phones, tablets, hardware and training to communities that can benefit them the most,” according to the company’s blog. Roughly $5 million will be used to fund technology requests on DonorsChoose.org. Other recipients include those supporting homeless and unemployed adults and bringing digital learning opportunities to developing countries.
