KNOWBOX, a mobile app startup that helps teachers and students manage their homework, recently secured $15 million in a Series B round from Beijing- and Hong-Kong-based investment firm Genesis Capital, China Money Network (CMN) reports. Operating out of Beijing, the education company also received support from existing investor Legend Star, valuing the company at nearly $100 million.
According to CMN, Knowbox boasts nearly one million active daily users on its two mobile apps. The company previously received $1 million in seed funding from Legend Star in 2014—the same year the company was established—and $10 million in series A funding round from TAL Education Group and Liu Qiangdong.
