LMS TRACKER: Few follow learning management systems as closely as Edutechnica, which released its fourth annual update on LMS adoption in higher-ed institutions with more than 500 full-time students. Blackboard Learn, Moodle, Instructure Canvas and Desire2Learn’s Brightspace are, respectively, the most popular. What raised eyebrows: Schoology, originally focused on K-12, notched roughly a dozen new customers in higher-ed. And Google Classroom is being used “at scale” at nine other schools.
