Indian Startup Cuemath Raises $4 Million to Grow Math Tutoring Centers

CUE UP THE FUNDING: Cuemath, an Indian startup based in Bengaluru, has raised $4 million in a Series A round from Sequoia India and Unitus Seed Fund, reports YourStory. Founded in 2011, Cuemath has developed a set of curriculum, technology and other educational materials that it licenses to tutors who run after-school math programs. There are 1,200 teachers currently onboard, and the company hopes to expand that number to 5,000.
