UCode Lands $1.7M for After-School Coding Education

UCODE: UCode has raised $1.7M in seed funding according to a SEC Form D filing. The Hermosa Beach-based startup, operates after-school learning centers that teach students ages 5-18 to code and create apps, 3D games, websites and robotics. Founded in 2012, UCode leverages a project-driven curriculum and seeks to spur critical thinking.
