LONG AWAITED: Microsoft has announced that the beta version of Minecraft Edu, the classroom-focused version of the popular open-world building game, will arrive in May with a launch of the full game slated for June. Teachers will be able to test out the game via an early access program before committing to buy a license. In a blog post, the company said it will test with 100 schools in 30 countries in May and that its team has been testing with the existing community, adding things like professional learning and student portfolios based on teacher feedback.
