Annual K12 Game-a-Thon Opens Applications for Student-Designed Math Games

Feb 10, 2016

GAME FACE: The MIND Research Institute has opened the applications for the annual K12 Game-a-Thon, which invites students to build, play and share their own math games, until July 1, 2016. The Game-a-thon challenges students to invent a card game, board game, app or other type of game that deals with a mathematical topic. The Game-a-Thon has been running since 2014. Entries will be evaluated by a team of educators, mathematicians and game designers on use of math themes, creative game design, originality and video presentation.
